Distinction Gallery is proud to present "Beware the Void", a solo show by John Ball. The opening reception will be held on Saturday June 9th, from 6-10pm. Reception with the artist will include live music, ArtHatch open studios, BK Cellars Wine, and Stone Beer.
From the director Melissa Inez Walker "I became aware of John Ball's paintings as he was on "Sky Arts Landscape Artist Of The Year 2017 of which he was a finalist. His paintings of desolate buildings and landscapes have both an eerie quality while evoking a sense of serene calm. It is an honor to bring him from the UK for his first US exhibition".
The exhibition will run from June 9 - July 7. The opening reception with many artists, live music, ArtHatch open studios, Stone Beer, and BK Cellars wine will be on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 6-10pm.
ArtHatch is a 7,000 square foot building which houses Distinction Gallery: exhibitions changing monthly, multiple exhibition spaces featuring work by represented artists, "The Alley" featuring over 20 local artists, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, featuring local artists and the ArtHatch teens.
