Press StatementDistinction Gallery continues its exquisite tradition of exposing the most talented artists to the Southern California region by featuring a two artist showing entitled, "Curious Reminiscence." The two artists share a common theme of fantastical illustrations, but are differentiated by varying styles and techniques. The opening reception with the artists and live music will be held on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 from 6-11 PM. Wine and Karl Strauss beer will be provided for those over 21, and live music will be preformed by "Templates," so we hope you will join us in celebrating this exceptional showing.
Distinction is a 7000 square foot building which houses the front gallery:which changes monthly, "The Alley" featuring new and previous works from over 75 artists, 14 artist studios ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, which feature the work of local artists and "The Lounge", containing 8 walls featuring local artists. The front gallery features contemporary and cutting edge art work with a soft focus on Urban Surrealism. Distinction exhibits work by emerging and internationally acclaimed artists and is located at:
