Press StatementA solo exhibition, auctioning the works of Neil Simon Poyuzina, will run from November 13, 2010 to November 20, 2010. All pieces start at 10% of retail price. Auction ends at 9:00pm sharp on November 13th. Proceeds to benefit Neil's family.
Neil's works will be sold auction style, with bids beginning at 10% of retail price. Pieces will also be available to be purchased for the "buy it now" retail price. Auction ends at 9pm during the reception.
In addition to the gallery showing our studios will be open featuring 35 local artists, ArtHatch, featuring 5 local teen artists, and 50+ international artists works will be on display.
Distinction Gallery is a 7000 square foot building which houses the front gallery: which changes monthly, "The Alley," featuring new and previous works from over 75 artists, ArtHatch, a non-profit focusing on work from teenage artists from the San Diego community, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, featuring the work of over 28 local artists, and "The Lounge", containing 8 walls featuring local artists. The front gallery features contemporary and cutting edge art work with a soft focus on Urban Surrealism. Distinction exhibits work by emerging and internationally acclaimed artists.
