Angela Richardson

Angela Richardson (b. 1980) is a self-taught, Contemporary Pop Art artist. Her work is inspired by Pop Culture, both past and present. She has had works featured at the San Diego Fair Exhibit of Fine Art, The Ramona Hotel Gallery, and the San Diego Museum of Art. Her works have recently been published inEnchanted: Fairy Tales, Folktales and Fables, Artistically Explored.

Working mostly in acrylics, Angela seeks to add a dreamlike quality to her works, with just a dash of whimsy. She finds inspiration in Pop Culture, current events, books and films. In addition to traditional art, she began creating "Doll Faces." Her Doll Faces are big-eyed, caricature-like people, often showing an expression of curiosity or gazing dreamily into a place beyond the viewers world.
