Press StatementJoin Distinction Gallery and ArtHatch on Second Saturday, April 11th from 6–10pm for the opening reception of April Arts Showcase “Spring in SoCal2,” our annual group show featuring ArtHatch Artists. This event is part of Escondido’s Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month 2026. Activities will take place throughout the artist studios, including live painting.
The first 100 guests to RSVP will receive a free succulent and a hand-painted pot. To reserve yours, please RSVP to spring@arthatch.org. Pot painting will take place from 6-9pm. There will also be a preview of artwork from the upcoming all-teen exhibition, showcasing work created by students in the ArtHatch nonprofit’s free teen art program.
Live music will be performed by C-Barrgs from 6–8pm and Big Boss Bubeleh from 8–10pm.
Drinks will be available for purchase from LastSpot (21+).
This event is free and open to all ages.
Additionally, we will have live painting happening in the gallery on April 18th and 25th from 2-5pm.
