Press StatementDistinction Gallery preserves its custom of exhibiting immense talent found all over the world to the Southern California region by featuring a multi-artist showing entitled, "The Spice Cabinet" The artists all contain a penchant for depicting jaded innocence in a pure light, with evocative subjects and varying, yet strong, techniques. The opening reception with the artists and live music will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2010 from 6-11 PM. All four artists will be in attendance. Complimentary Wine and Karl Strauss beer will be provided for those over 21.Distinction Gallery hopes you will join us in unveiling this exceptional showing.
Distinction is a 7000 square foot building which houses the front gallery: which changes monthly, "The Alley," featuring new and previous works from over 75 artists, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, featuring the work of over 35 local artists, and "The Lounge", containing 8 walls featuring local artists. The front gallery features contemporary and cutting edge art work with a soft focus on Urban Surrealism. Distinction exhibits work by emerging and internationally acclaimed artists and is located at: 317 E. Grand Ave, Escondido, CA, 92025.
